FOCAS was founded in 1991 by a group of like minded people determined to ensure that the rich heritage of material conserved by a dedicated team of archivists in the four Cumbria Record Offices is promoted and supported by all.

The Friends of Cumbria Archives Membership roll comprises Individual, Family, Corporate/Society, Associate and Ex-Officio members
